Erin Capital’s counsel, Eltman, Eltman, and Cooper, which were computer
generated and submitted without any meaningful attorney review. The class
of consumers asserted that the company violated the Fair Debt Collection
Practices Act because the letters sent were “false, deceptive, and
misleading.” The case eventually settled.
